Kim Guillemard
Founder & Creative Director
Kim is the Founder and Creative leader of Impact Entertainment Media. An award-winning designer by the age of 21 and voted designer of the millennium in 2000 by one of Asia’s top design magazines. She left her successful design business to pursue her passion – researching, studying and ideating ways to bring about positive change at scale.
Kim has 26 years of experience across start-ups, strategy consulting, marketing, interior design, design, writing, research, business development and sales and humanitarian work. She’s created and sold exhibition space, set up a healthcare business and been involved in real estate, in letting, sales and concept development. She’s a writer, futurist and founder of The Global Transformation Foundation. She developed Impact Entertainment Media’s plans, shows and catalogue. Her experience and strengths lie in strategic out-of-the-box thinking, researching and analyzing market needs and realities, conceptual and product development, positioning and launching new ventures.
Kim is by nature a designer. Part aesthete, part visionary, and part anthropologist. She is driven to exploring new concepts that will bring added meaning to our world. She immerses herself in the everyday world, absorbs and senses cultural changes, values and market trends, then creates responsible and courageous concepts. She believes her role is best described as an ambassador between corporations and the marketplace, the link that creates the language of emotion. Designers are often known solely for their designs – the expression of their imagination – but they also can be an incredible driving force as “conceptual provocateurs.” Kim is a conceptual provocateur. Heartfelt design makes the world a better place.
